We developed this specifically for double rifle shooters who want to practice off our shooting sticks. The relatively tight "V" on our sticks works great to lock in bolt actions and single shots but it is a bit narrow for the wide fore ends found on doubles. This piece gives you a flat, padded rest for your double rifle. Shooting upright off sticks lets you sight in a rifle much faster and also allows you to roll with the recoil instead of being pounded sitting behind a bench. This piece is only intended for range work as the sticks will not collapse when it is in use. This durable, filled extra-thick leather piece is beautifully made and locks onto the top of our sticks with two heavy-duty nylon bands that hold the rest securely in place. Please note that smaller diameter aluminum sticks will not be similarly anchored.
