These hand-sewn pieces are crafted in the USA using thick Elephant or Cape buffalo hide from the Courteney® Boot Company. The overnighter/small weekender bag measures 18” wide, 16” tall and 8” deep. The hinged, rolled steel top that is leather covered opens up wide for easy access just like the old Doctors bags.
There are two clasp options; a traditional locking brass clasp is standard and real ivory warthog tusk is an upgrade option. Both clasps close the bag securely. Secure the warthog tusk version by sliding the tusk through a loop on the side of the bag. The tusk is permanently affixed with a short piece of coated black cable, so you never have to worry about leaving it behind.
The real hand-polished warthog tusk measures approximately 7" around the curve. Several inches of the tusk have been cut off so that it is appropriately sized for this piece.
The interior is fully lined with black rip resistant, anti-microbial vinyl fabric. Inside the bag there is one large interior zippered pocket and two rows of four small organizer loops for underwear, socks, belts and other small garments. Reinforced corners, five brass feet on the bottom and extra-thick stitching means this bag will last several lifetimes. Make it even more special by having the lucky recipients name monogrammed on the strip of leather above the clasp.
