MultiTusker Bag

This large, heavy-duty leather bag is crafted from thick bull hide and can be purchased with an optional, trophy-sized, real warthog tusk that measures approximately 11" around the curve for the top closure clasp (assuming your state law permits it). These are huge tusks! Inside, the bag has a removable wood divider system that allows you to customize the size of the compartments. The internal dimensions of the bag measure 15” wide x 10” deep x 13” tall. The sturdy bottom and middle rib utilize ½” hardwood plywood and the three dividers use ¼” plywood to save weight.

The flexibility of this carrier allows you you to use it as a field bar, picnic basket, weekender bag, or pack it full of shooting supplies for a day in the field or at the range. As the name implies, this bag is built to multi-task! Cleaning the inside of the bag is fast and easy as the divider is removable.

The warthog tusk clasp slides through a leather loop that is riveted to the side of the bag and comes through a “window” in the top flap. Each tusk is custom fitted with a brass cap which allows the tusk to be permanently affixed to the bag with the black coated cable so you never have to worry about leaving it behind. If you live in a state that prohibits real tusk, we can substitute a piece of Fallow deer main beam antler in it's place.

You can carry it two different ways; from the handles or by putting the padded sheep’s wool carrying strap over your shoulder. The adjustable strap is modeled after an M1 Garand sling. The solid brass hardware and brass feet on the bottom will allow this stunning bag to age with grace.

The removable wood insert has up to 8 individual compartments for various items. The middle rib and dividers all fit in grooves to help keep them in place. With all three dividers in place you have 8 compartments that each measure 3 ½” x 4 ¼”. This would typically be how you would set up the bag if you were using it for a field bar. If you want to use it for a picnic, you would remove the middle ¼” divider for plates and other larger items. This is also how you might set it up for a day at the range or bird hunting. If you are using it as a weekender bag, you would probably take out all the dividers and simply keep the thick bottom and middle rib in place. The height of the divider is approximately 11”. There are two finger holes in the top of the middle rib to allow for easy removal.
